DosBlanc

I recently had the privilege of doing a logo for Montreal-born composer Micheal R Edward’s DosBlanc. His music is what I would consider a must have for anyone who enjoys classical music. It’s the perfect sort of thing for relaxing in a comfy chair with a glass of wine and a nice set of headphones on. This logo was done in Adobe Illustrator, as always my program of choice. I’m especially proud of how the black and white version came out and really loved working with such a fun client.

This weeks theme for Illustration Friday is Beginner so I decided to go with an evolution theme depicting the first fish to come on land.

A silly road sign warning

This is an image I made long ago as a joke in a collection I labeled “Road Signs you don’t want to see”. I thought it fit the theme nicely and a little humor makes a Tuesday better.

Killer Robot with ray guns done in Adobe Illustrator

This weeks theme for Illustration Friday was “Surrender”. I got inspired by a lamp I have and some old movie posters to make this a bit too adorable killer robot. The pop of color up top attracts the eye and then it glides down the robot to the larger text sending a clear message that the end is near.  I’m pleased with how it came out.

Silly Logo for el pollo diablo

This weeks theme for Illustration Friday is chicken and I couldn’t help myself. It reminded me of Escape from Monkey Island, a hilarious pc game featuring the adventures of Gybrush Threepwood. SO here is a silly logo for El Pollo Diablo one of the games legendary figures.
